The Vision of St Andrews Church, Kinson
As an Acts 2 church we take seriously the blue print for our church life in Acts 2:42-47.
This means that we are fully committed to being a church which: -
1. Values fellowship, small groups and is committed to the local parish we are serving.
2. Places the authority of the Scripture and the revelation of God central to what we do.
3. Worships God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
4. Seeks to be culturally relevant.
5. Holds fast that prayer is vital for the building up of our relationship with God.
6. Stands in awe and wonder at who God is.
7. Is open to God‘s healing and miracles.
8. Takes seriously the call to be wise stewards.
9. Is not just about Sundays.
10. Sees all converts become disciples of God, walking strong in their faith.
11. Takes seriously the call for all members to discover their calling and gifts then provide a safe place for them to be released into ministry.
12. Empowers and releases leaders to fulfil the calling God has on their lives.
13. Is a missionary church which reaches out to share the love of God.
14. Is totally reliant upon God’s Holy Spirit.
