8:45 Service
Each Sunday we will have communion at the 8:45 service with opportunities for prayer for healing once a month. It is our prayer that we can reach out to the community to those who want regular communion and that this service will not be exclusively for those who are post-retirement age. The musical worship for this service will be led by the organ and piano and will be include the ‘best of the old, best of the new’.
10:30 Service
We will have our family service at 10:30 with the first 20 minutes being focused on the children with children’s songs and a short talk before the children leave for their groups (the rest of the service will be more adult focused). The musical worship will be led by a music team and we will be trying to reach out across all the generations to become truly ‘all age’. At each of our morning services we will have a sharing service every 2 months where 3 or 4 people from that congregation will be invited to share with the church what God has been doing in their lives.
First Sunday - All age service with thanksgivings.
Second Sunday - Holy Communion and children’s groups.
Third Sunday - Morning worship with healing and children’s groups.
Forth Sunday - Holy communion and children’s groups.
Fifth Sunday - All Age Holy Communion.
About Our Communion Services
Jesus always welcomes those who come to him, and so if you love the Lord Jesus and desire to serve Him in your life, then please come up and receive the bread and wine at the communion service. If you would prefer a prayer of blessing instead, please put your hands by your side at the communion rail so we know not to offer you the bread and wine. If you are unable to take alcohol, there is a separate chalice of non-alcoholic wine as well as gluten-free wafers instead of bread available on request for those who need them. If you are not a 'confirmed' member of the church then that is something to consider in due course – please have a word with Pat about it if you feel you would like to know more about this.
